Portbou es el municipio ubicado más al norte de la Costa Brava, y posee cuatro playas dignas de destacar.

La playa de Portbou es la playa más concurrida. El resto de playas, como pueden ser Pí o Claper son aconsejables sólo para amantes del submarinismo. Son playas con poco atractivo bañista, pero ideales para la práctica del buceo por sus fondos rocosos y la transparencia de sus aguas.
