Blanes is a coastal municipality that belongs to the Costa Brava. It is the one with the highest population of 40,000. Belongs to the region of La Selva.

Blanes is one of the main cities of the Costa Brava. Tourism, construction and the textile industry is it´s main source of income, although we must not forget to mention agriculture and fishing. It has 4 kms of beach line divided between urban beaches and small coves.
